Privacy notice
This notice explains what Fidera collects, why, who handles it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. Last updated 25 Oct 2026.
Who we are
Fidera is run by a sole trader based in Spain, who is the controller of your data. Their name, address and tax number are on the Legal notice page. For anything about your data, write to hello@fiderahq.com.
The programmes we link to
Some links on this site and in our emails are referral links. If you join a programme through one, it may pay Fidera a fee. We never give the programmes your email address or your name. When you follow a link, you leave our site and the programme’s own privacy notice applies.
What we collect and why
- Your email address and the field you choose, to send you the guide, the welcome emails, new roles in your field and occasional updates.
- Your first name, if you give it (it’s optional), only to greet you in our emails.
- A record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, its version, the page and form you used, and the time.
- The campaign tags in the link that brought you here, if any (for example, which social network), to learn which posts help.
- The emails we send you, and whether each was delivered, bounced or marked as spam, so we stop writing to addresses that don’t work.
- A short-lived code made from your IP address, to limit repeated sign-up attempts. It is deleted after a day and can’t be turned back into your address.
We don’t use cookies or advertising trackers. We don’t track whether you open our emails or click their links. For role links, we count clicks per link and per day, with nothing about who clicked.
Why we’re allowed to
We email you because you agreed to it: that is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. We keep the abuse checks, the visit counts and the do-not-email fingerprint because we have a legitimate interest in running the site safely. That includes never emailing someone who said no.
Visit counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. It stores nothing on your device and doesn’t follow you across sites or build a profile of you. Cloudflare receives your IP address with each request, like any web service, and doesn’t keep it. We see only totals: visits, pages, countries and the sites that sent people here.
Who handles your data
A few providers run parts of Fidera for us and handle your data only to do that:
- Vercel hosts this website and handles every page request.
- Supabase hosts our database, where your sign-up and consent record are stored.
- Resend sends our emails. It keeps a log of each email (address and subject) for 30 days.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies.
- Hetzner runs the server that prepares our emails.
- Backblaze stores backups of our database.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t give it to the programmes we link to.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or keep data there; Resend, for example, keeps its account data in the US. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you’re subscribed. If you sign up and we never email you, we delete your details after 12 months. When you unsubscribe or ask to be erased, we delete them, usually within 15 minutes (see below). Copies in our database backups are gone within 35 days, and Resend’s email log within 30 days.
When you unsubscribe
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works at once. You can also write to hello@fiderahq.com and we’ll remove you.
When you unsubscribe or ask to be erased, we delete your email address, first name, consent record and the emails we sent you. We keep only a one-way fingerprint of your address on a do-not-email list, so we never email you again. We can’t turn the fingerprint back into your address.
Because of that fingerprint, the sign-up form won’t add your address again. If you unsubscribed by mistake, write to hello@fiderahq.com and we’ll look at it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, get a copy, or object to its use. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link; this doesn’t affect emails already sent. Write to hello@fiderahq.com and we’ll answer within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es) or the one where you live.
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top of the page.
