About Fidera
Fidera is an independent referral service. We explain remote expert work in plain words and link to open roles, dated, from programmes' public pages. We are not an employer or a recruiter. This page says how we collect and check what we show, how we grade our sources, how we correct mistakes and how we earn.
Who this is for
Professionals considering paid expert work on AI projects: people who want to judge an offer before they spend an evening on an application or an assessment. Everything on this site and in our emails is free. We sell nothing.
How we collect roles
We read each role on the programme's own public page and date it, three times a week. Every week we open each open role's page again. A role that closes leaves the site, and a role we have not confirmed in the last 10 days is not shown. We never use member areas, contractor work or any page that is not public.
A posted range is what the public listing showed on the date given. It is not a promise of what you will earn, so check the programme's own page before you apply.
How we check the programmes
Before a role reaches this site, and every day after, we check the programme behind it:
- every day, news feeds for the programme's name next to words like late payment, lawsuit, data breach or insolvency;
- every day, its terms and rules pages, compared with the copy we read before; a change that matters to you is looked at by a person;
- every week, public posts on social media that name it, watching for a jump rather than single posts.
Something serious and confirmed from a dated public source pauses the programme at once: its roles leave this site and our emails, and our links stop sending people to it. Anything else goes on watch, and a person decides. How we vet gives the details.
How we grade our sources
Our guides list every source with a link to the page we read, the date we read it and a grade:
- A: official sources and a company's own pages: regulators, tax authorities, legislation, official statistics, peer-reviewed research, a programme's own terms;
- B: preprints, credible institutions and major press;
- C: named experts and practitioners, credited to them;
- D: forums and social posts, never used for facts or figures.
Legal, tax and compliance points come only from grade A or B sources, with the country named. A page that only summarises other pages is never a source on its own.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, tell us. Every report is read by a person. We fix the page or answer you within 5 working days. When a correction changes a fact, the page's review date changes with it, and we list the correction here with its date.
No corrections so far.
Independence
A programme paying us a fee never changes what we check or what we show. We recommend the best option for you even when it earns us nothing, and we say so.
How we earn
The programme you join through one of our referral links pays us, only after you join and the programme confirms the referral. You never pay Fidera, and using our links costs you nothing. Every referral link on this site and in our emails has a short note next to it. How we earn says more.
What we can't promise
Our checks cover what is public. They can't see inside a programme, and they don't guarantee work, interviews or pay.
