How we vet
Before a role reaches this site, and every day after, we check the programme behind it. Here is what we check, how often, and what happens when something looks wrong.
Three times a week
The roles
We read each role on the programme’s own public page and date it. Every week we open each open role’s page again. A role that closes leaves the site.
Every day
The news
Every night we search news feeds for each programme’s name next to words like late payment, lawsuit, data breach or insolvency.
Every day
Their terms
Every night we re-read each programme’s terms and rules pages and compare them with the copy we read before. A change that matters to you, like pay, fees, who can join or which countries are accepted, is looked at by a person. The rules we show under each role (countries, ID checks, equipment, how pay works) come from those pages, with the date we read them.
Every week
What workers say
Every Monday we read the past week’s public posts on social media that name each programme next to words like paid, scam or banned. One post is one person’s story, so we watch for a jump, not for single posts.
Any time
What you tell us
Had a problem with a programme? Tell us. Every report is read by a person.
What happens next
- Something serious and confirmed (payments failing, a data breach, action by a regulator, insolvency), from a public source dated within the last 90 days: the programme is paused at once. Its roles leave this site and our emails, and our links stop sending people to it.
- Anything else (a lawsuit filed, an unconfirmed report, a jump in complaints, a change to its terms): it goes on watch, and a person decides.
What doesn’t change it
A programme paying us a fee never changes what we check or what we show.
What we can’t promise
These checks cover what is public. They can’t see inside a programme, and they don’t guarantee work, interviews or pay.
